IPL 2020: IPL 13 can be held in July!
IPL 2020: Due to the possibility of increasing lockdown across the country, it is not possible to organize the Indian premiere from April 15. The FICCI India report has estimated that the loss of the Indian Premier League event could result in a loss of around Rs 2500 crore. Star India, which owns the telecast rights of IPL matches, can be the biggest loser. In 2018, Star India bought IPL broadcasting rights for 5 years for Rs 16,347 crore.
The Indian Premier League franchise Chennai Super Kings has also said that it may face heavy losses if the IPL is canceled. Earlier, Rajasthan Royals also demanded BCCI to organize a short season with only Indian players in closed doors. Rajasthan Royals wants the board to take a decision keeping in mind the interest of the teams.
